Complete Week Four Player Rankings & Projections l More Sit & Starts

There's a nice infusion of youth on the Week Four Start List. Nebraska's Taylor Martinez has emerged as a star. Jake Heaps will show the BYU faithful what he can do, and Jordan Webb is trying to show Kansas fans the future is much brighter than the present. And each should post very nice numbers this week.

Last Week's Quarterback Starts (points in parenthesis):

Brandon Weeden (52), Darron Thomas (33), Kevin Riley (11), Ben Chappell (38), G.J. Kinne (17), Bryant Moniz (17), Alex Carder (20), Ryan Colburn (20)

Average QB Start: 26 points. Riley is a killer. Grade: B-

Last Week's Quarterback Sits:

Nick Foles (20), Robert Griffin (15), Taylor Martinez (44), Matt Barkley (15), Colin Kaepernick (52), Case Keenum (4), Brian Anderson (7)

Average QB Sit: 22 points. Too high. Kaepernick and Keenum are killers. Grade: D

Start Em! Quarterbacks

BCS-Only

1. Taylor Martinez, Nebraska vs. South Dakota State

I have learned my lesson. The Huskers offense is a steamroller, and Martinez will get his before he dons a ballcap.

2. B.J. Daniels, South Florida vs. Western Kentucky

Daniels struggled mightily throwing the football in Gainesville; thankfully Western Kentucky is at the tail end of a difficult slate, and they've shown an inability to stop the pass.

3. Matt Simms, Tennessee vs. UAB

Matt Simms was decent against a pretty talented Florida defense, and UAB has been horrible vs. the pass.

4. Jordan Webb, Kansas vs. New Mexico State

New Mexico State is the perfect opponent for an offensive unit looking for experience and confidence.

All-120

1.  Bryant Moniz, Hawaii vs. Charleston Southern

Moniz and his teammates have survived their challenging stretch to open the season, and they'll be pleased to welcome Charleston Southern.

2. Ryan Aplin, Arkansas State at Troy

Aplin has thrown the ball well against all opponents, including Auburn in the season opener.

3. Jeff Van Camp, FAU vs. North Texas

North Texas is a respectable 26th in pass defense. This is because teams have run it down their throats at will. Van Camp will eat up the Mean Green.

4.  Jake Heaps, BYU vs. Nevada

The unfortunate loss of Riley Nelson means it's the freshman's time, and the clock starts against a Nevada defense that's 91st against the pass and poised for a big letdown.

Sit Em! Quarterbacks

BCS Only

1.  Zach Collaros, Cincy vs. Oklahoma

The Cincy offense just isn't in sync, and the Sooners defense is ready to wake up and hit the road.

2.  Russell Wilson, N.C. State at Georgia Tech

Love, love, love Russell Wilson, just not this week.

3.  Geno Smith, West Virginia at LSU

Geno Smith has been among the nation's most surprising quarterbacks, but a trip to Baton Rouge will slow him down.

All-120

1. Kyle Padron, SMU vs. TCU

Did you see what the Horned Frogs did to Robert Griffin?

2.  Ryan Radcliff, Central Michigan at Northwestern

The Wildcats will take care of business and take their momentum right into the Big Ten season.

3. Ryan Colburn, Fresno at Ole Miss

The Rebels can't let Fresno march up and down the field...can they?
