Complete Week 10 Player Rankings & Projections l More Sit & Starts

Coming off a solid week of running back recommendations my confidence is sky high. And I'm feeling good about how Week 10 is looking. A couple of Big Ten backs appear poised to continue their producing ways, while Lennon Creer leads the non-BCS runners.

Last Week's Running Back Starts:  Jacquizz Rodgers (37), Shane Vereen (5), Daniel Thomas (18), Stepfan Taylor (23), Ed Wesley (13), Alex Green (13), Chad Spann (21), Jared Hassin (27)

Grade: A-. Only Vereen failed to hit double digits.

Last Week's Running Back Sits:  Montel Harris (24), Noel Devine (7), Chris Polk (2), Alfred Morris (16), Carl Volny (4), Javonti Greene (3)

Grade: B-. Harris and Morris knock me down a wee bit.

Start Em! Running Backs

BCS-Only

1. Mikel LeShoure, Illinois at Michigan

It will only take about two relatively deep completions from Nathan Scheelhaase. Then things will open up and LeShoure will run wild against a putrid Wolverine defense.

2. Adam Robinson, Iowa at Indiana

It's November, so it's time to ride those Big Ten backs.  Young Marcus Coker may steal some carries, but Robinson will still get his.

3. Roy Helu, Nebraska vs. Iowa State

This is the poster child for riding the hot hand.

4. Onterio McCalebb, Auburn vs. Chattanooga

Lost amidst the Cameron Newton and Michael Dyer performances last week is McCalebb's 9-99-1 against the Rebs. He'll see plenty of action this week.

All-120

1. Lennon Creer, Louisiana Tech vs. Fresno State

35 carries against Boise show that Creer is a workhorse. 149 yards and two scores show he's a stud. Fresno is 62nd against the run. Boise is #2.

2. Robbie Rouse, Fresno at Louisiana Tech

Looking for Rouse and Creer to play a little game of one upsmanship. The diminutive Rouse is on a nice little roll and coming off a bye. He'll be ready to go.

3. Gee Gee Greene, Navy at ECU

Gee Gee has a knack for scoring touchdowns, and ECU has a knack for giving up bunches of yards on the ground.

4. Kerwynn Williams, Utah State vs. New Mexico State

I liked this guy back in August. Now the team is finding more ways to get the ball in Williams' hands. Have a running back question? Ask Kerwynn Williams.

Sit Em! Running Backs

BCS Only

1. Alexander Robinson, Iowa State vs. Nebraska

The fun stops for now. Give him a one-week rest.

2. Trent Richardson, Alabama at LSU

Richardson is seeing about 10-12 touches per game. This won't be enough against LSU.

3. Keola Antolin, Arizona at Stanford

Not against the Cardinal.

All-120

1. Aaron Spikes, La.-Lafayette at Ole Miss

Spikes is not seeing enough carries to get it done in Oxford.

2. Eddie Wide, Utah vs. TCU

Wide has scored six touchdowns in his last four outings. However none of these outings have come against the nation's top-ranked defense.

3. Jared Hassin, Army vs. Air Force

Air Force is ranked 109th against the run. This can happen when you play Oklahoma, Navy, TCU and Utah. They'll keep Hasin in check.
