Merry Christmas to all. I hope everyone got their stocking stuffed. Some quick updates on our Fantasy Bowl Challenge and Pick 'em contests...
Fantasy Bowl Challenge
The big winners so far are the few owners that put their faith in San Diego State running back Ronnie Hillman. His 244 rushing & receiving yards and four touchdowns were a goldmine for the cagey owners that selected him at RB2.
Troy's Corey Robinson and Northern Illinois' Chandler Harnish have turned out to be solid early bowl season QB2 plays. UTEP's Kris Adams and Tulsa's Damaris Johnson have also been nice finds at WR2.
The Cromags lead with 186.32 points on the strength of his WR picks and Hillman. The big question is 29pts from Bryant Moniz -- it could of been worse-- enough? Or will Robbie Rouse come back to haunt him?
Pick 'em
UDKO has taken a commanding lead in the Pick 'em contest, leading both the entrants from College Fantasy Football Insider and also the overall lead across all the participating sites.
His strategy of front loading the confidence points on the early favorites has paid huge dividends. UDKO has his hit on his top top six confidence point plays (35, 34, 33, 32, 31 and 30 pts). His lone lose was last night's contest against Hawaii (29 pts). Fortunately for UDKO most were high on Hawaii as well.
As in the running is CFFI's dolfan (2nd CFFI & 8th overall). And watch out for willieb1939 (13th CFFI & 69th overall), he's one of the few to correctly predict every game so far and is within striking distance of the leaders.
With 28 bowl games left to go it is too early crown a winner in either contest, but several players are off to big starts. Good luck all and Happy Bowl Season!
