Signing day 2012 is in the rearview mirror. Did your alma mater land that 5-star stud? Who had the biggest haul? Who are the top prospects in this class? And more importantly, are there any noteworthy signings for fantasy owners?

Over the next week we'll be taking a look at the running back, quarterback and wide receiver classes. As a general rule of thumb: you should only be considering true freshman in keeper leagues or conference-specific leagues with limited talent pools. For the rest, consider this is a cursory look at players that could potentially have an impact down the road.

(Rivals rank, Scout rank, ESPN rank, 247Sports rank)

Top Keeper League Picks

Dorial Green-Beckham, Missouri - 6'6" - 220 (1 WR, 1 WR, 1 WR, 1 WR) - The consensus top WR in the country surprised on NSD by sticking with the in-state Tigers. Great for Mizzou and great for fantasy owners.

Deontay Greenberry, Houston - 6'3" - 187 (7 WR, 7 WR, 17 WR, 3 WR) - Another NSD shocker. Greenberry switched from the Irish to the Cougars. Kevin Sumlin is gone, but the offense should still be run and gun.

Gabriel Marks, Washington St. - 6'0" - 175 (13 WR, 39 WR, 78 WR, 19 WR) - Mike Leach is back! Wazzu brings in four WRs to keep an eye on: Marks, Alex Jackson, Robert Lewis and Brett Bartolone.

Deontay McManus, West Virginia - 6'2" - 215 (25 WR, 33 WR, 45 ATH, 19 OLB) - The wild man Dana Holgorsen is reloading at WR with McManus, Travares Copeland, Devonte Mathis, Devonte Robinson, Darreall Joyner and Jordan Thompson.

Trey Metoyer, Oklahoma - 6'2" - 198 (1 Prep, 8 Prep, NA , NA ) - Didn't make the grade last year. He'll be looked to contribute early in 2012.

Durron Neal, Oklahoma - 6'1" - 195 (9 WR, 18 WR, 10 WR, 20 WR)

Courtney Gardner, Oklahoma - 6'3" - 215 (12 JC, 47 JC, NA , NA ) - Depending on how you stack them up, the Sooners bring in six true freshman WR, JUCO and prep school receivers. Coach Bob Stoops is obviously looking for some early PT out of his WR class.

Sterling Shepard, Oklahoma - 5'10" - 175 (20 WR, 27 WR, 9 WR, 13 WR)

C.J. Curry, Oklahoma St. - 6'2" - 210 (45 WR, 67 WR, 89 WR, 59 WR) - Offensive coordinators and QBs have come and gone, but one thing remains the same: Mike Gundy's teams will throw the football.

Brandon Sheperd, Oklahoma St. - 6'3" - 190 (100 WR, 17 WR, 86 WR, 64 WR)

Others to Consider
