The Salt Lake Tribune reported (and coach Bronco Mendenhall confirmed) that junior Riley Nelson will start at quarterback for BYU this Saturday against San Jose State.

Nelson replaces the young/talented/struggling quarterback Jake Heaps, and he brings a little dual-threat capability to the offense. He's a risky start, however there is some big point potential here.
