In what can only be described as a surprise move, former Notre Dame head coach and Florida offensive coordinator Charlie Weis has been hired as the head coach of Kansas.

All Mark Mangino references aside, Weis will bring some talent to the Jayhawks but it remains to be seen if he can coach up said talent.  This is a good publicity move for Kansas but I am not sure how it will translate to wins.
