How to Play

    Select one player from each position tier to create your team.

    Order of finish determined by fantasy points your team earns. The team with the most fantasy points wins.

    Enter at anytime. You can change your selections at any time, right up until a few minutes before the start of a player's game. Once the game for your a selected player starts, he’s locked into your team. You cannot select a player whose game has already started.

3rd-5th Place: 2012 MyInsider Plus Membership

Scoring System

Players will receive points based on the game performance of their chosen players. Points will be awarded as follows:

Passing: pass yards/25,  6 points per touchdown, -2 points per interception and 2 points per conversion.

Rushing and Receiving: rushing & receiving yards/10, 6 points per touchdown and 2 points per conversion.

Kicking: 1 point per PAT and 3 points per field goal.

Team Defense: 1 point per sack, 2 points per fumble recovered or interception, 6 points for fumble/interception/blocked kick return for touchdown. 10 points for a shutout, 7 points for 2-6 points against, 4 points for 7-13 points against, 1 point for 14-20 points against, 0 points for 21-27 points against, -1 point for 28-34 points against and -4 points for 35 or more points against.

There will be no points awarded for special teams yardage. A score on punt or kick returns will be assigned to the individual player, not the team defense. An interception return, fumble return or blocked kick for a score will not be assigned to a player, but to the team defense. The scoring categories are not limited by position, so a running back or receiver could earn points by throwing the ball (or by kicking a field goal for that matter). Decimal scoring will be used, rounded to the nearest 0.01 fantasy point.

Tie-breaker: Should two or more entrants tie for the top fantasy scores after all bowl games have been completed, the prizes will be divided among the tied entrants. CFFInsider reserves the right to decide on a reasonable division of the prizes. CFFInsider shall be deemed the official scorer whose decisions are final and binding in all respects.

Description

The College Fantasy Bowl Challenge is a fantasy sports test of skill. Winners are determined by the individuals who use their skill and knowledge of relevant sports information and fantasy sports rules to accumulate the most points according to the scoring rules. By agreeing to these terms and conditions, you acknowledge that Insider Sports Media, LLC (CFFinsider.com) is not a “gambling” website and further that the College Fantasy Bowl Challenge is not a gambling venture. Further, The College Fantasy Bowl Challenge is not to be used in connection with any form of gambling or for the promotion of gambling.

Contest Term
The College Fantasy Bowl Challenge will consist of the 2011-2012 College Football bowl season, ending on January 9, 2012.

Eligibility
Open to legal residents of the United States who have reached the age of majority in their states and shall be construed and evaluated according to United States law. Void in Arizona, Iowa, Louisiana, Maryland, Montana, North Dakota, Vermont, Guam, Puerto Rico and other U.S. territories and foreign territories. Void where prohibited by law. Residents of ineligible states, employees and their immediate families, including household members, of CFFinsider.com or of any other company or person involved with the design, production, execution or distribution of The College Fantasy Bowl Challenge may register to play, but are not eligible to claim prizes.

One entry per person. Winner will be contacted by email. You must have a valid email address to collect a prize.

Prizes

No substitution or transfer of prize is permitted, except that CFFInsider reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal value or greater value at any time. All prizes are awarded "as is" and without warranty of any kind, express or implied, (including, without limitation, any implied warranty of merchantability for a particular purpose). All taxes associated with the receipt or use of any prize is the sole responsibility of the winner. In the event that the awarding of any prizes to winners of the Contest is challenged by any legal authority, CFFInsider reserves the right in its sole discretion to determine whether or not to award a prize. In the event of a tie, prizes will be split amongst the participants that are tied.

Prize calculations will be based on the stats and scoring results as published on January 10, 2012. Once prizes are awarded, the scoring results will not be changed regardless of any official stat scoring adjustments made by any organization. CFFInsider will make the final decision on any scoring decrepencies.

Conditions of Participation

By entering the College Fantasy Bowl Challenge, entrants agree to be bound by these rules and decisions of CFFinsider.com, which shall be final and binding in all respects. By entering this The College Fantasy Bowl Challenge, where legal, by being an entrant or winner, you consent to the use of your name, voice, and likeness, photograph in and in connection with the development, production, distribution and/or exploitation of The College Fantasy Bowl Challenge. Winners agree that from the date of notification by CFFinsider.com of their status as a potential winner and continuing until such time when CFFinsider.com informs them that they no longer need to do so that they will make themselves exclusively available to CFFinsider.com for publicity, advertising and promotion activities, and must agree not to allow interviews by other media outlets, including television, magazines, newspapers, radio and Internet, unless authorized by CFFinsider.com. CFFinsider.com and CFFinsider.com's Promotional Partners reserve the right to make public personal information about the entrants and winner(s), on-air, on the Internet, or otherwise, prior to, during, or following The College Fantasy Bowl Challenge. In all disputes, CFFinsider.com is the sole judge and its actions are final and binding. CFFinsider.com may announce any winner's name on-air or on its website.

CFFinsider.com, in its sole discretion, may disqualify any entrant from the The College Fantasy Bowl Challenge, refuse to award prizes and require the return of any prizes, if entrant engages in conduct CFFinsider.com deems to be improper, unfair or otherwise adverse to the operation of the Competition or in any way detrimental to other entrants. Improper conduct includes, but is not limited to: falsifying personal information required to enter The College Fantasy Bowl Challenge or claim a prize; violating any of these rules, accumulating points or prizes through unauthorized methods such as automated scripts or other automated means; tampering with the administration of The College Fantasy Bowl Challenge or trying to in any way tamper with the computer programs associated with this Competition; obtaining other entrants information and spamming other entrants; and abusing the website in any way. Entrant further acknowledges that the forfeiture and/or return of any prize shall in no way prevent CFFinsider.com from pursuing criminal or civil proceedings in connection with such conduct.

CFFinsider.com reserves the right to modify these rules for clarification purposes at any time. By entering into this Competition or accepting any prize, entrants, including but not limited to the winner(s), agree to release and to hold harmless CFFinsider.com and CFFinsider.com's Promotional Partners and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates and agencies, as well as the officers, directors, employees, shareholders and representatives of any of the foregoing entities (collectively, the "Released Parties") from any and all liability, claims or actions of any kind whatsoever, including, but not limited to, for injuries, damages or losses to persons and property which may be sustained in connection with participation in The College Fantasy Bowl Challenge, the receipt, ownership, use or misuse of any prize or while preparing for, participating in and/or travelling to or from any prize related activity, and claims based on publicity rights, defamation or invasion of privacy.

CFFinsider.com and CFFinsider.com's Promotional Partners are not responsible for: any incorrect, invalid or inaccurate entry information; human errors; postal delays/postage due mail; technical malfunctions; failures, including public utility or telephone outages; omissions, interruptions, deletions or defects of any telephone system or network, computer online systems, data, computer equipment, servers, providers, or software (including, but not limited to, software and operating systems that do not permit an entrant to participate in The College Fantasy Bowl Challenge), including without limitation any injury or damage to any entrant's or any other person's computer or video equipment relating to or resulting from participation in The College Fantasy Bowl Challenge; inability to access any website, or any web pages of the CFFinsider.com; theft, tampering, destruction, or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries and/or images of any kind; data that is processed late or incorrectly or is incomplete or lost due to telephone, postal issues, computer or electronic malfunction or traffic congestion on telephone lines or transmission systems, or the Internet, or any service provider's facilities, or any phone site or website or for any other reason whatsoever; typographical, printing or other errors, or any combination thereof. CFFinsider.com and CFFinsider.com's Promotional Partners are also not responsible for incomplete, illegible, misdirected or stolen entries. If for any reason The College Fantasy Bowl Challenge is not capable of running as originally planned, or if The College Fantasy Bowl Challenge or website associated therewith (or any portion thereof) becomes corrupted or does not allow the proper entry to The College Fantasy Bowl Challenge and processing of entries or votes in accordance with these Official Rules, or if infection by a computer (or similar) virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, actions by entrants, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes of any kind, in the sole opinion of CFFinsider.com corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of The College Fantasy Bowl Challenge, CFFinsider.com reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual implicated in such action and/or to cancel, terminate, extend, modify or suspend The College Fantasy Bowl Challenge, and select the winner(s) from all eligible entries received. If such cancellation, termination, modification or suspension occurs, notification will be posted on the website.

All entries become the property of CFFinsider.com and will not be acknowledged or returned. Winners may be requested to provide CFFinsider.com with proof that that all eligibility requirements are met. The winner will be contacted by email at the address provided during registration. A valid email address is required to collect any prize. In the event of a dispute as to the identity or eligibility of an entrant or winner based on an e-mail address, the applicable entry will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at time of entry. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the person of majority age who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider or other organization (e.g., business, education institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.

All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of any entrant, CFFinsider.com or the Released Parties in connection with The College Fantasy Bowl Challenge, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Michigan.

Participation in The College Fantasy Bowl Challenge must be made only as specified in these Official Rules. Failure to comply with these Official Rules will result in disqualification and, if applicable, prize forfeiture.

The failure of CFFinsider.com to comply with any provision of these Official Rules due to an act of God, hurricane, war, fire, riot, earthquake, terrorism, act of public enemies, system errors, actions of governmental authorities or other force majeure event may result in the termination of the contest at anytime.
