Boise State running back Doug Martin carried the ball 23 times for 112 yards in Wednesday night's win over Tulsa. Fellow running back Jeremy Avery added 73 yards on 16 rushing attempts.
It is interesting to see Martin become the go-to back for the Broncos. Ever since D.J. Harper (knee) went down, Martin has had more carries than Avery in each of the last three games.
