Eastern Michigan freshman quarterback Alex Gillett threw for 148 yards while rushing for 102 and a touchdown against Akron.
Gillett was intercepted twice, and this looks like his Achilles' heel as that makes seven INTs in his last three games. On the plus side, Gillett is young and his dual-threat capability may make waiting for improved decision making worth the effort. He rushed for 288 yards in his final three outings, and I like his potential next season.
