"I think he's well ahead (of schedule)," Notre Dame coach Brian Kelly said of quarterback Dayne Crist (knee). "My goal right now -- and I don't think I'm putting (trainer) Jim Russ in jeopardy at all -- I think he's going to be able to partake in virtually everything but contact."
This is good news for the Irish as their success in 2010 will likely hinge on Crist's shoulders (or knee). He'll have to fend off a push from three incoming quarterback recruits though, who we will be profiling shortly.
