Oregon State wide receiver Darrell Catchings was granted a medical hardship year by the NCAA today.  In 2009, he only played in two games due to injuries to his ankle and wrist.

Catchings will now be listed as a junior and have two more years of eligibility. He is expected to be a starter opposite James Rodgers next season.  He has 42 catches for 505 yards and one touchdown in his career.
