Gamecocks use twin towers at receiver

In 2009 you rarely saw South Carolina wide receivers Tori Gurley and Alshon Jeffery on the field at the same time since the two played the "same position." The start of spring practice for the Gamecocks on Thursday saw Gurley move to an inside slot receiver which means in some formations they will be on the field at the same time in 2010.

The reason this is significant is because Gurley checks in at 6'5" and Jeffrey at 6'4". There may be quite a few "jump balls" thrown in Columbia next season.
