Dasher can't be suspended for playing poker

The status of Middle Tennessee State quarterback Dwight Dasher is still up in the air. But what is clear is he can't be suspended just for his love of poker.  From The Daily News Journal: "Dasher cannot be declared ineligible based solely on gambling in poker. NCAA bylaw 10.3 only includes sports gambling as grounds to declare a student-athlete ineligible."

One hurdle down, but there is still the little matter of the unpaid loan.  Hopefully we'll have resolution before Thursday night's kickoff against Minnesota.
