Missouri quarterback Blaine Gabbert completed 34 of 48 passes for 281 yards and two touchdowns in a win over Illinois. He also had five carries for -10 yards and lost a fumble.
Gabbert was sharp in the passing game and rallied the Tigers from a 10-point halftime deficit. He took a couple shots on running plays, which I would assume you'll see fewer of in the coming weeks. Look for Gabbert to continue his hot start against McNeese State next week.
