Oregon State quarterback Ryan Katz completed nine of 25 passes for 159 yards and two touchdowns in the loss to TCU. The good news is that he didn't commit a turnover against one of the best defenses in the country.
Katz showed some serious arm strength on two long scoring passes but he was a little erratic with his mid-range tosses. He is going to have to really work on his touch if he is going to improve his completion percentage. Jacquizz Rodgers owners are hoping he also realizes he can check the ball down for easy yardage when the big play isn't available.
