Texas Tech wide receiver Alex Torres was held out of the opening game versus SMU with a back injury.
Torres hurt his back in practice and has been limited ever since. Given Tech's depth at wide receiver, there was no reason to press Torres back into action. Perhaps Lyle Leong's outburst will aid in the healing process.
