Cincinnati wide receiver Vidal Hazelton suffered a torn ACL returning a kickoff in Saturday's loss to Fresno State and will be out for the season. He had six catches for 63 yards before the injury.
Tough blow for Hazelton and the Bearcat offense. The senior transfer from USC sat out all of last season. Since he didn't redshirt at USC he can apply for a sixth-year medical waiver. Marcus Barnett will assume the starting position at wideout.
