Kansas State running back William Powell won't be stealing carries from Daniel Thomas anytime soon, but with 72 yards and a TD against UCLA, he's proving to be a valuable change of pace RB for the Wildcats.
Given the struggles in the K-State passing game, the focal point of the offense is clearly the running game. Powell typically won't get double-digit carries most weeks, but he should see more action than usual with Missouri State on tap.
