A pair of Texas Tech wideouts continue to work toward getting back on the field. Alex Torres (back) was planning to work out with the team, but it doesn't sound like they'll be rushing him back. Austin Zouzalik, who had an appendectomy in mid-August, practiced on Tuesday.
This doesn't seem to bode well for Torres' return this week, although the Red Raiders don't really need him against New Mexico. Zouzalik will probably play, albeit in a reserve role.
