Texas Tech held their second scrimmage of the spring on Saturday and there was no shortage of offense. Quarterbacks Seth Doege passed for 246 yards and  one touchdown and Jacob Karam threw for 204 yards and four scores. Shawn Corker led all receivers with seven catches and 131 yards and two scores. Running back Ronnie Daniels led the way on the ground with 80 yards on 12 carries.

The talk of the scrimmage was Karam who may have put himself in the mix with Doege for the starting spot.  "He made himself look better,” coach Tommy Tuberville said. “We’ll see where he ends up in terms of putting pressure on Doege, but that’s the best he’s played since he’s been here. Today was his day throwing the deep ball. He was on early."
