Louisiana Tech head coach Sonny Dykes is still searching for his starting quarterback as he enters his second year with the school.  Steven Ensminger and Ross Jenkins are gone and now it is between Colby Cameron, Tarik Hakmi, Taylor Burch, and Zach Griffin.  When talking about Cameron, Dykes said "I felt last year Colby had the physical skill set to do it, but just didn't have the tenacity — the want to win the job — and that is something he is going to have to develop."  While nothing has been decided, Dykes said that Hakmi would have the edge based on the fall.

Whoever wins the job should have some growing pains as they will be working with a retooled receiving corps. They will have the luxury of handing off to Lennon Creer.  The production we expect from a Dykes led team may be another year off.
