Steven Sipple of HuskerExtra reports; "Projected starting running back Rex Burkhead is listed at 5-11, 210 pounds, same as last season. But he looks bigger and thicker, especially his upper body."
With Roy Helu graduating, Burkhead will be counted on to carry the load. He should improve on his 172 carry and 952 yard performance from last season. On a semi-related note, Sipple also believes Taylor Martinez will hold off the competition at quarterback.
