Houston Chronicle's Sam Khan Jr. was able to snag a copy of the Houston Cougars' spring depth chart. Those that follow the Cougs know what a rare item this is. I'm surprised it is not gold plated. At receiver Justin Johnson and E.J. Smith are listed as starters alongside veterans Tyron Carrier and Patrick Edwards.
At running back there is no sign of Charles Sims, who was suspended for the 2010 season due to academics. It is unknown if he'll be back in 2011 or not; information is always tough to come by at Houston.
