Miami speedster Travis Benjamin was told that he could be a more integral part of the new regime as long as he packed on a few pounds and that is exactly what he has done.  Currently Benjamin is six pounds heavier and Benjamin says "I know my speed is still consistent."  Also of note is that running back Lamar Miller, who began the spring near the bottom of the depth chart, says he expected to be listed there because he was working with the track team during the offseason and not with the football team.

So it appears Miller's job is safe and that Benjamin could be the one to fill Leonard Hankerson's shoes.  However, don't count out LaRon Byrd.
