With Stephen Garcia being held out of practice, Connor Shaw was expected to step up but he didn't do much but show up. Shaw finished practice completing 7-of-13 passes for 78 yards and two picks. Redshirt freshman quarterback Dylan Thompson was the star of the show as he threw for 131 yards, two touchdowns, and a pick on 9-of-15 passing.
Only God and Steve Spurrier know who is going to start for the Gamecocks so it is just best to sit back and enjoy the show coming out of Columbia.
