The total yards that the Baylor offense put up in their first scrimmage looked like the total of two or three games as the defense looked entirely overwhelmed. Robert Griffin threw for 208 yards and two touchdowns. Redshirt freshman Bryce Petty added 448 yards and four touchdowns while Nick Florence pitched in for another 277 yards and a score. Terrance Williams led the air attack with 209 yards and two scores on 11 catches while Terrance Ganaway rushed for a team high 74 yards on just five carries.
The Baylor offense is good but not that good. It looks like new defensive coordinator Phil Bennett has a lot of work to do.
