UCLA 's star quarterback recruit, Brett Hundley, will get lots of work this offseason as he is one of the few healthy quarterbacks the Bruins have. Darius Bell is out with a shoulder injury, Nick Crissman is recovering from surgery, and Kevin Prince is recovering from knee surgery. That just leaves Richard Brehaut who struggled at times last season and is not the ideal fit for the Pistol offense. Coach Rick Neuheisel says "He's going to get lots of chances. How fast he grows and matures in the offense and shows he can understand all he needs to handle to be effective, that will just enhance his ability to play and play at an early time in his career."
Hundley could very well see the field as a true freshman if he makes some progress in learning the offense and limiting mistakes this spring.
