As the Seminoles held practice on Saturday, head coach Jimbo Fisher had nothing but good things to say about wide receiver Rodney Smith.  "Rodney had probably his best day today. [He's] learning to be more consistent, learning to do some things. [He] kept making the every down play. He's keeping up, he caught a deep ball or two today. I was real pleased with him."  Also running back Jermaine Thomas has rejoined the team after being suspended for a DUI earlier this spring.

Thomas will battle Chris Thomas and Ty Jones for carries, with Thompson the likely breakout candidate.  Smith is a big target at 6'6 and should make a real impact this year, especially in redzone situations.
