The Detroit Free Press reports that Michigan quarterback Denard Robinson took some snaps under center in practice today, at times with....gasp, two tight ends on the line of scrimmage.
Ok, so it's not like Robinson was lined up at fullback, but this year's Michigan offense will be one of the more fascinating on-field stories this preseason and season. Many expect a return to the old Michigan days of Tyrone Wheatley/Jarrod Bunch/Leroy Hoard power football and tight end waggles. However offensive coordinator Al Borges is a dynamic coordinator, and he'll make good use of his super weapon. Still my guess is Robinson's role will sometimes look like a warp speed Michael Taylor (old school Michigan reference) rather than Pat White.
