During the latest scrimmage for Nevada, there were no signs of the top two contenders to fill Vai Taua's cleats.  Both Lampford Mark and Mike Ball were held out of spring drills as they recovered from knee issues.  Junior college transfer Nick Hale led the ground attack for the Pack with seven carries for 54 yards and a score.

With his size and track speed, Ball is the likely candidate to be the feature back but he needs to prove it in summer camp.
