QB Jones trying out wide receiver

Michigan transfer and current Marshall player Conelius Jones was working out with the quarterbacks but has moved from throwing the ball to trying to catch it.  Jones has been moved to wide receiver not because of his performance under center but because of the depleted receiving corps for the Herd.

Jones is an athletic player whose understanding of the quarterback position could help him read defenses as a receiver.  As for now, he has little immediate fantasy value but plenty of upside.
