The Houston Chronicle reports that a bunch of young wide receivers stepped up in the spring game: Ronnie Williams (7-79), Darian Lazard (9-74), DeAndre Perry (5-68) made some noise.
As The Chronicle notes, the Cougars starters (Tyron Carrier, Patrick Edwards, E.J. Smith and Justin Johnson) are set. However there are a lot of Case Keenum receptions to be had, and the youngsters mentioned all present nice potential, both in 2011 and down the road.
