Usually when you think deep threat, you think of a 6'4 receiver who can burn a secondary but for the Boilermakers, their top "deep threat" is kicker Carson Wiggs. Wiggs has shown a big leg but took it to another level in the Purdue spring game. Wiggs connected on a 67-yard field goal at the end of the first half.
Wiggs has said that he wants to attempt a 70-yarder but game situations have never really made that a possibility. Wiggs has a huge leg and is someone to consider (as much as you can consider a kicker) on draft day.
