When attempting to replace someone like Demarco Murray who could run, receive, and pass block all without missing a beat, you usually can't do it with just one guy. The Sooners realize this and believe it could be a blend of Jonathan Miller, Brennan Clay, Roy Finch, Trey Millard, walk-on Dominique Whaley, and Jermie Calhoun to make up for the loss of Murray.
Clay has a similar skillset to Murray but in a smaller package. Finch is reminiscent of Quentin Griffin but needs to stay healthy. Fullback Millard is the best pass blocker of them all but would limit was the Sooners could do on offense. All in all, this may be a position to shy away from on draft day.
