During Kansas State's press conference, head coach Bill Snyder said that he was happy with the depth he has at running back with John Hubert, Robert Rose, Demarcus Robinson, and Bryce Brown but said "there are three guys right now that are contesting for the position." It seems that of the four running backs, one is not in the running to replace Daniel Thomas.
My guess is that it is between Hubert, Robinson, and Brown. Snyder's best running back was the smallish Darren Sproles but at 5'4 and 173 pounds, I have to believe that Rose is there for depth purposes and not as a possible workhorse for the Wildcats.
