Competition level high for Gopher RBs

As fall approaches, several running backs are vying for playing time under new head coach Jerry Kill at Minnesota.  Duane Bennett and DeLeon Eskridge are the most experienced but are being pushed by youngsters Donnell Kirkwood and Lamonte Edwards.  Kirkwood is looking to drop some weight while Edwards has the best power and speed blend on the team.

Bennett and Eskridge were recruited for Tim Brewster's foray into the spread offense but have bulked up for the return to a power running game.  While the offense should be conducive to some fantasy production, it seems as if this could be a committee approach.
