During the Owls spring game, head coach Steve Addazio had seen plenty of star running back Bernard Pierce so he rested him after just one carry. That was when redshirt freshman Myron Myles stole the show. Myles finished the game with 133 yards rushing and three touchdowns while adding 51 yards receiving and another score.
Pierce is the main man for the Owls once again but they still have Matt Brown (who was suspended for the spring), Myles, and Ahkeem Smith.
