Jason Ford hopes to be the next in a line of great Illini tailbacks but will have to wait until after the spring game. Ford will not be able to participate in the annual Blue and Orange game as he recovers from a persistent knee injury.
The Illini still have Troy Pollard but will need Ford healthy to make it through the Big Ten.
