The Nebraska coaching staff took this spring to see if there was some quality depth behind Rex Burkhead, and it appears that the depth will have to come from incoming freshmen Ameer Abdullah and Aaron Green. Abdullah's high school coach says "In certain situations, certain packages, certain roles, I think he could do a lot to help in his freshman year."
Burkhead is a stout workhorse while Abdullah and Green should provide that homerun spark.
