Nebraska used the Pistol offense a bit last year but from the looks of the spring game, the Huskers may operate a bit more out of what has made Chris Ault and Nevada so famous. In the spring game, Brion Carnes and Cody Green looked good out of the formation while it is also well suited for the skill set of Taylor Martinez.
Martinez will not be the next Kaepernick but this offense could help Rex Burkhead gain more yards and even help the passing game.
