Ex-Buckeye talks about OSU car deals

Former Ohio State receiver Ray Small talked candidly to The Lantern about selling memorabilia for cash and deals on cars. "I had sold my things but it was just for the money," Small said. "At that time in college, you're kind of struggling... It was definitely the deals on the cars. I don't see why it's a big deal... They have a lot (of dirt) on everybody cause everybody was doing it."

The layers of this onion are just starting to be pealed and it would probably be a good idea for former alumni to stay out of the media. I get it, they don't see it as a big deal and everyone is doing it. Maybe they are even hoping for much needed change in the NCAA rules. However, Small's comments won't do the Buckeyes any favors while they are being investigated by the NCAA.
