A recent interview with Clemson offensive coordinator Chad Morris revealed that one of the biggest things missing from the offense last year was a deep-threat in the passing game.  Morris wants to establish a vertical passing game utilizing playmakers like DeAndre Hopkins and some of the talented incoming freshmen.  As for playing the froshes, he plans to put them to use gradually and in situations that set them up for success.

The new offense will run the ball quite a bit which bodes well for Andre Ellington and Mike Bellamy but will need Hopkins, Sammy Watkins, Martavis Bryant, and/or Charone Peake to develop as a field stretcher.
