Michigan running back Michael Shaw is one of the team's biggest homerun threats and has heard several times how great of a runner he is when healthy. Well now Shaw is competing for the starting tailback job under new head coach Brady Hoke and is working hard to shake the misconception that he is not tough enough. "I hear that stuff but I don't listen to that stuff because it's coming from outside the program. My teammates don't question my toughness. My coaches don't question my toughness" says Shaw.
With a runner like Denard Robinson taking snaps and the logjam at the position, there is no reason to draft any Wolverine back until the season is off and running.
