This time last season, Iowa running back Marcus Coker was behind Brandon Wegher, Jewel Hampton, and Adam Robinson on the depth chart.  After Wegher left the team, Hampton transferred to Southern Illinois, and Robinson was dismissed, Coker was thrust into the spotlight.  In the team's bowl game against Missouri, Coker ran for 219 yards and has been hitting the weight room to get ready for his undisputed starting role for the Hawkeyes.

Coker has the power to handle the rigors of the full time job and very well could lead the Big Ten in rushing this season.  Consider Coker an RB1 in BCS leagues.
