Former Mississippi State running back Montrell Conner went the JUCO route and has now landed at Troy where he will have three years of eligibility left.  Conner was a three-star athlete coming out of high school.

Conner is a big back who will find a role on the offense early.  Troy lost quite a few players earlier this spring and after a mass arrest at a fraternity that involved several players, Conner's arrival couldn't have come at a better time.
