In the wake of five key contributors being suspended for the first five games of the 2011 season (I guess four now that Terrelle Pryor as moved on), BuckeyeGrove.com highlights five players on offense who could make an impact this year. On the list are wide receivers Devin Smith and Verlon Reed, Jaamal Berry and Jordan Hall at tailback, and of course, super frosh Braxton Miller at quarterback. Smith and Reed could help bolster the lack of depth at their position, Berry and Hall could seriously challenge for touches while Dan Herron sits, and Miller could wind up being the starter come this fall.
Despite missing so many players for the first five games, this will give Ohio State the chance to get their incredibly talented depth on the field to see what they can do. Do not be surprised if the depth chart looks pretty different by the sixth game of the season.
