Since Will Muschamp took over as the head coach of the Florida Gators, he has lost five players to transfers.  Redshirt freshman tight end Michael McFarland makes six.  It is unknown at this time why McFarland decided to transfer but Muschamp released a statement saying "Michael and I have come to the conclusion that it is in his best interest to transfer from the University of Florida."

If the presence of Jordan Reed and Trey Burton are not the reason he transferred I don't know what is.  With those two playmakers as well as A.C. Leonard, the Gators will be stacked at the position for a while.
