With Jordan Todman off to play on Sundays, the UConn Huskies will need someone to step up on the offensive side of the ball this season, and it looks like running back and former USC Trojan D.J. Shoemate could make an impact. Shoemate barely touched the ball last season after battling some fumblitis but impressed this spring and was a terror in the open field.
Shoemate could have some real fantasy potential as long as their is a semblance of a passing game in Storrs.
