Mostly a mystery to old Pac-10 fans, the Colorado defense has the potential to be a surprise this season in the new Pac-12 -- particularly the defensive tackles, which rated a "great shape" nod from espn.com's Ted Miller as he broke down all 12 defensive tackle units.

The Buffs return starters Will Pericak and Curtis Cunningham to the DT group and should get plenty of help from spring sensation Conrad Obi. A fourth member of this group who should see quality playing time is Nate Bonsu, who missed spring due to a knee injury.
