Ole Miss wide receiver Jesse Grandy left the Rebels in February and was supposed to rejoin the team, but it appears Grandy will not end up at Ole Miss after all. Head coach Houston Nutt commented on the situation saying "We had a very high standard of things he had to do to get back, and the seniors attempted to get him back with some things that had been put in place. He didn’t follow through with all of that, and I think deep down inside he wanted to get back closer to home."
Grandy was supposed to be a deep threat on offense and a dynamo in the return game, but even without his speed, the Rebels have recruited enough talent at the receiver position that someone is bound to step up.
